Can't say enough about your inclusion of Number 4 on this list. I know that when I was a younger person, I would have never hesitated to max out a car like the ZR-1 because I was invincible back then, as were we all. Nowadays, with my so much more mature outlook (?), (and apparently smaller gonads), I wouldn't do it, especially when I think of the myriad of parts whose failure at 23 years of age, 90,000 plus miles, and 180 MPH could be, well, very exciting. I would add darn good brakes to your excellent list as well.
As for the present, now that I've just completed another plenum pull with an assortment of new parts, I do plan to participate in a Standing Mile Run in the near future. 150 MPH is very doable with a Z and should circulate enough adrenalin for me.
