If I can spend $3,000 having Marc fix my car, I am not that hard up for money.
As for you and others who commented that twist and pull works.
I tried it.
It works nicely for #3 & #4, but not as well for #'s 1,2, 7 & 8
With my tool you put it down under the rubber and use the "miracle"
of leverage to pop the boot.
