Apparently the Oct. issue of a prominent US consumer magazine did car
battery testing and the "stock brand" for the Corvette did pretty well

version (690 cold cranking amps for about $70 something dollars)
One that sponsors a green NASCAR Nextel cup car (18?) didn't do as well
as past yrs. and was middle of the pack (44 score). I had pretty
good luck with that in other vehicles and minimized the need for
Price doesn't necessarily buy one the best unit though they said.
I am in the middle of the FX3 shock repair as the gear up top (plastic)
had broken. I should have fixed it earlier as now the metal bottom
piece has partially busted off as the motor was probably spinning.
Looks like "pot metal". Ugh!
