Kinda like the dingbat that lives near me, her kid was setting off fireworks
on the 4th of Jul. One went haywire, flew past my husband and straight into
our open garage. Went through the car cover, over the snout of the '77 and
into the corner of the garage with the propane tank from the bbq grill.
She came over (NOT the kid) to bitch at me because she didn't think "it was
very neighborly that we called the fire dept".
So, Kurt, your neighbor's lack of interest will only help you out when his
insurance pays for all the damage.
